A book on the Child and Adolescent Stuttering Treatment.
THE CHILD AND ADOLESCENT STUTTERING TREATMENT AND ACTIVITY RESOURCE GUIDE, 2ND EDITION is the only product of its kind. This book offers specific, hands-on activities that can be used in the evaluation and treatment of fluency disorders (stuttering and cluttering) as well as specific decision-making information that will help clinicians identify goals, and then develop effective and practical strategies to meet these goals. An applied book about therapy, THE CHILD AND ADOLESCENT STUTTERING TREATMENT AND ACTIVITY RESOURCE GUIDE is full of easily-applied therapeutic ideas that are substantiated by solid research findings and thorough explanations.

Peter Ramig is Professor and Associate Chair in the Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences at the University of Colorado in Boulder, where he teaches and specializes in stuttering issues in children, teens, and adults. He is also a member, fellow, and board-recognized fluency specialist of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. The majority of Dr. Ramig's professional writings and publications pertain to treatment and efficacy issues related to intervention with persons who stutter. As a working therapist and recognized authority on stuttering, he annually presents many workshops and seminars focused on specific treatment strategies for working with children, teens, and adults who stutter. Darrell Dodge is a certified speech-language pathologist with a private practice in the Denver Metro area. He is an associate of Peter R. Ramig, Ph.D. and Associates at the Greenwood Speech Language Center, a specialty clinic focusing on the evaluation and treatment of children, teens, and adults who stutter. Mr. Dodge received his MA degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Colorado-Boulder and returned later as a lecturer teaching the graduate stuttering course. Voted National Stuttering Association Member of the Year in 1998, he has facilitated numerous adult stuttering support groups and has served as web developer for a website that explores the many aspects of stuttering and includes the essay, The Veils of Stuttering"."
