Professor Hu Zhen is a traditional Chinese medicine physician, and dean of the school of International Studies at Wenzhou Medical College. He is also the dean of the Chinese Division of the Confucius Institute at Burapha University in Thailand and a renowned TCM doctor in Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province. In addition, he was awarded the title of "National Outstanding TCM Clinical Talent," and has been engaged in teaching and clinical practice for 23 years with more than 50 journal publications to his credit. Dong Fei-xia has served as the director of the Scientific Research Center and vice director of the Department of Nephrology at Wenzhou TCM Hospital since 2002. He is in charge of research on chronic kidney disease. In 2007, he enrolled in the TCM doctoral degree program at Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
