Helps younger surgeons and residents understand and learn how to perform a clinical examination of the shoulder. This title includes tests for rotator cuff pathology, shoulder laxity/instability, and SLAP lesions.
This title focuses on such areas as: resident information and shoulder & upper extremity. This program will help younger surgeons and residents understand and learn how to perform a clinical examination of the shoulder. The tests are reproduced on cadaver specimens in order to better visualize the anatomical structures involved. Because every test is based on an anatomical feature, knowing the anatomy and the pathology is fundamental to understanding how the test has to be performed and why it becomes positive in case of pathology. The program includes tests for rotator cuff pathology, shoulder laxity/instability, and SLAP lesions. The rotator cuff tests are divided into rotator cuff integrity, impingement, and LHB (long head of biceps) tests. Laxity and instability tests are divided into laxity and provocative tests. SLAP (superior labral, anterior to posterior) lesions are tested with active compression tests.
