Donnie O'Quinn is an author, consultant, and onsite trainer based in Portland, Maine. Classroom-based programs under his direction were once described as "hands down, the best prepress training in the Northeast" by Printing Industries of New England organization. Past clients include Apple Computer, MetaCreations, and MacUser Magazine, as well as service bureaus, designers, and printers from Philadelphia to Nova Scotia. His other books include Digital Prepress Complete (Hayden Books) and QuarkXPress in a Nutshell (O'Reilly), and he's not about to stop. When not working, he restores his overpowered '74 Chevy, tries to find time to form another maladjusted punk band, and writes of his family's vast experiences in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.
