This text provides an introduction to the world of iTunes 4, Apple's jukebox software available on Windows and Macintosh. Task-based, visual format brings music downloading and sharing to users of iTunes.
Access to nearly half a million songs, and the ability to preview all of them for free and download any of them for less than a buck: That's the promise, and Apple's new iTunes 4 delivers! Here to ensure that you don't spend more time reading about iTunes than you do playing with it with it is the first task-based Visual QuickStart Guide devoted exclusively to the topic. Using simple step-by-step instructions peppered with plenty of screen shots, visual aids, and tips, this friendly, jargon-free volume shows you how to burn custom CDs and DVDs, add music to your other iLife projects, share playlists, and preview and download songs from the iTunes Music Store's growing catalog. Also covered are all the features new to version 4: shared music between Macs and PCs, automatic synchronization with iPods and with Mac and Windows computers, newly available audiobooks (at the iTunes Music Store), Smart Play lists, AAC encoding, and more.
