Nirbhay Kumar Chaubey is currently working as a Professor and Dean of Computer Science at Ganpat University, Gujarat India. Prior to joining Ganpat University, he worked as an Associate Dean of Computer Science at Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. A dedicated person with the capability of taking on new challenges of academic, research, and administrative leadership with over 25 years of teaching regular Post Graduate courses of Computer Science. His research interests lie in the areas of Wireless Networks (Architecture, Protocol Design, QoS, Routing, Mobility, and Security), Cyber Security, Quantum Computing, IoT, Ad Hoc Networks, Sensor Networks, and Cloud Computing. Established a reputed Scopus Indexed Springer International Conference on Computing Science, Communication and Security (COMS2) being organized every year. Published 70+ research papers in reputed International Journal and Conference proceedings indexed in Scopus and Web of Science, published 10 book chapters in Scopus Index Book. Authored/ Edited 8 Scopus-indexed international texts, reference books of Springer, IGI Global, and Lap Lambert publishers, contributed 12 patents (5 granted) and 1 copyright (granted). His published research works are well cited by the research community worldwide which shows his exceptional research performance, Google citations: 740 and H-index: 18. Dr. Chaubey has been very active in the technical community and served on the editorial board of various international journals, program committee member for international conferences and an active technical reviewer of repute Journals of IEEE, Springer, Elsevier, and Wiley. Under his guidance 07 Ph.D. students, 14 M.Tech students, and 160 MCA students completed, 6 Ph.D. Research Scholars continue for their quality research work, and one Ph.D. research scholar received the AWSAR Award-2020 of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India under his guidance. Prof. Chaubey is a Senior Member of IEEE, a Senior Member of ACM, and a Life Member of the Computer Society of India. He has been actively associated with the IEEE India Council and IEEE Gujarat Section and served IEEE in various volunteer positions. He has received numerous awards including IEEE Outstanding Volunteer Award- Year 2015 (IEEE Region 10 Asia Pacific), Gujarat Technological University (GTU) Pedagogical Innovation Awards (PIA) -2015, IEEE Outstanding Branch Counselor Award - the Year 2010 (IEEE Region 10 Asia Pacific). ***|Neha Chaubey - Editor|Ms. Neha Chaubey continues the Master of Science (MSc) program in Analogue and Digital IC Design at Imperial College, London, United Kingdom, Imperial College ranked 6th in the world in QS World University Ranking. Her research interest lies in Quantum Computing, Digital IC Design, Wireless Network and Cyber Security. She has worked as an intern at Cadence Design Systems and also at eInfochips, an Arrow company. She has published 3 research papers in Conference Proceedings and published 1 Patent. She was awarded the best research paper award during her undergraduate study for her research paper titled “An Efficient Cluster Based Energy Routing Protocol (E-CBERP) for Wireless Body Area Networks Using Soft Computing Technique” and another paper titled “Training locomotion skills to a legged robot using Machine Learning and Trajectory control” presented and published in Springer CCIS Series International Conference on Computing Science, Communication and Security in the year 2022 and 2023 respectively.
