Author Cassandra Reeder launched her blog The Geeky Chef in 2008, bringing fictional food and drinks from a vast array of fandoms into reality with simple and fun recipes. Since then, a series of cookbooks based on the trailblazing blog have been published, including The Geeky Chef Cookbook, The Geeky Bartender Drinks, and The Video Game Chef. When not conjuring up recipes for fictional food, Cassandra can be found perusing the food carts in Portland, Oregon, with her husband and two tiny geeks. Nadia E. Oxford has been writing in, about, and for the games industry since 2004, which is the journalistic equivalent of being raised by wolves. She currently roams around in her half-feral state, consulting on games, localizing scripts, and publishing books to keep body and soul together. She knows a few things about mixing alcohol and video games, and guarantees these recipes are antifreeze-free. If words annoy you, Nadia also co-hosts the Axe of the Blood God RPG podcast and contributes to Retronauts' podcasts about old games and the weird pockets of culture they inspire.
