This book offers an overview of the recent disruptives technologies and their application in the new Society 5.0 for better human life. The content provides researchers by new trends in blockchain, IA, and big data applied to several fields related to smart cities and Society 5.0 such as health care, education, finance, mobility, logistics, and quality of life. It is an opportunity for researchers and practitioners to present and discuss their most recent research results, innovations, experiences, concerns, challenges, and trends about the application of disruptive technologies applied to Society 5.0. The aim of the book is to focus on how disruptive technologies can change the way we perform and how it creates more opportunities with a special focus on AI, blockchain, big data, etc.

The idea behind this book is to focus on solutions based on disruptive technologies that can face the challenges of the developing countries. We will shed the light on different sectorssuch as education, agriculture, industry, transportation, environment, energy, health care, etc. We will discuss the challenges that the emerging countries face in these sectors and provide disruptive technologies based solutions to them. This book also introduces success stories of disruptive technologies-based solutions and their impact on the lives of people in developing countries.

 

Dr. Mariya Ouaissa is currently Professor at Institute Specializing in New Information and Communication Technologies, and Researcher Associate and Practitioner with industry and academic experience. She has a Ph.D. graduated in 2019 in Computer Science and Networks, at the Laboratory of Modelisation of Mathematics and Computer Science from ENSAM-Moulay Ismail University, Meknes, Morocco. She is Networks and Telecoms Engineer, graduated in 2013 from National School of Applied Sciences Khouribga, Morocco. She is Co-Founder and IT Consultant at IT Support and Consulting Center. She was working for the School of Technology of Meknes Morocco as Visiting Professor from 2013 to 2021. She is Member of the International Association of Engineers and International Association of Online Engineering, and since 2021, she is "ACM Professional Member". She is Expert Reviewer with Academic Exchange Information Centre (AEIC) and Brand Ambassador with Bentham Science. She has served and continues toserve on technical program and organizer committees of several conferences and events and has organized many symposiums/workshops/conferences as General Chair also as Reviewer of numerous international journals. Dr. Ouaissa has made contributions in the fields of information security and privacy, Internet of Things security, and wireless and constrained networks security. Her main research topics are IoT, M2M, D2D, WSN, cellular networks, and vehicular networks. She has published over 35 papers (chapters, international journals, and conferences/workshops), 10 edited books, and 8 specials issues as Guest Editor.
