Caspases as Molecular Targets for Cancer Therapy discusses recent developments on targeted therapies for cancer using caspases. It describes the selection of specific caspases for cancer therapy with the current standard-of-care and highlights numerous assay techniques for caspases activities. The book discusses topics such as mutations within apoptosis gene, inflammatory caspases, tumor suppression, and the different caspases types and their role in anticancer activity. In addition, it discusses caspases activity assay procedure and future perspectives. It is a valuable resource for researchers, students and members of the biomedical and medical fields who want to learn more about novel anticancer targeted therapies.

Dr. Ankur Vaidya obtained his PhD from Dr. H.S. Gour University, when he researched design, synthesis, and screening of a few quinoline and oxadiazole derivatives for anticancer activities. He has 12 years of experience in teaching and research, and already supervised 18 PhD students. He wrote 5 book chapters and co-authored 2 books, including Nanotechnology Applications for Cancer Chemotherapy (Elsevier, 2020).
