Builds on a basic knowledge of 2D AutoCAD to build up competency in 3D AutoCAD through a series of structured progressive exercises which contribute to a final rendered project. The text introduces 3D design and provides exercises in surface/solid modelling and a 3D design project.

Trevor Bousfield is a consultant engineer with 48 years' experience in engineering including the post of Senior Designer for Vickers Ltd. He is Chief Regional (Yorkshire) External Verifier for C&G AutoCAD courses and Senior Examiner for GCSE Design and Communication. He was formerly the Head of Industrial Engineering and Curriculum Manager at York College of Further and Higher Education, and has written numerous articles for CADuser Magazine.
