Ambermoon Advanced (eBook)

Ambermoon Advanced is a fan-made extension for the Amiga classic RPG Ambermoon by Thalion Software. It is playable on a real Amiga or on modern systems through the port Ambermoon.net. This game manual contains information about the extension, a brief story of Ambermoon, descriptions for attributes and skills, a complete spell list, the element damage table and some information about the new animal party member. There are some handdrawn illustrations as well and a spoiler section at the end if you want to make sure you have found all the new content.

Hi I'm Pyrdacor and I develop games in my free time. As a child I got my first Amiga with games like Monkey Island, The Settlers, Shadow Lands, Lemmings and of course Ambermoon. I was hooked immediately and always wanted to create games like those precious gems from the past. In 2020 I started to port Ambermoon to the PC. I wrote everything from scratch, analyzed every tiny part of the game's behaviour and even counted pixels to position everything exactly as in the original. Later I learned to read and code M68k assembly and decoded the last bits of the original Amiga code. Today you can play Ambermoon on all main modern desktop platforms and mobile support is planned for the near future. As a bonus I also create and release patches for the original Amiga game so basically I've become the unofficial maintainer of Ambermoon. My plans for the future are to add more content to Ambermoon, port Amberstar as well and even create the never finished third part of the trilogy.
