City, Society, and Digital Transformation (eBook)

This book showcases recent research advances in service science and related fields. Including selected papers from the 2022 INFORMS International Conference on Service Science, held in Shenzhen, China from July 2 to 4, 2022, the book presents new theories and empirical results in the emerging, interdisciplinary field of digital transformation and society. Robin Qiu is a full Professor of Information Science at Pennsylvania State University, USA. He teaches a variety of information and computing science courses, including predictive analytics, management science, business process management, decision support systems, project management, and enterprise integration.

Wai Kin (Victor) Chan is a Professor and Deputy Dean of the Shenzhen International Graduate School (SIGS) and Tsinghua-Berkeley Shenzhen Institute (TBSI), Tsinghua University, China.

Weiwei Chen is an Associate Professor at Rutgers, State University of New Jersey, USA. He has extensive experience working with businesses and the public sector, especially in energy and healthcare, to improve strategic decisions and operational efficiency using data analytics.

Canrong Zhang is a full Professor at the Research Center for Modern Logistics, Shenzhen International Graduate School, Tsinghua University, China. His research findings have since been translated into a series of optimization systems that have already benefited numerous companies throughout China.
