This conference proceeding contains 27 peer-reviewed invited papers from leading experts as well as young researchers all over the world in the related fields that Professor Fukushima has made important contributions to.

These 27 papers cover a wide range of topics in probability theory, ranging from Dirichlet form theory, Markov processes, heat kernel estimates, entropy on Wiener spaces, analysis on fractal spaces, random spanning tree and Poissonian loop ensemble, random Riemannian geometry, SLE, space-time partial differential equations of higher order, infinite particle systems, Dyson model, functional inequalities, branching process, to machine learning and Hermitizable problems for complex matrices. Researchers and graduate students interested in these areas will find this book appealing.

?Zhen-Qing Chen is a Professor of Mathematics at the University of Washington, Seattle. His research interests include Dirichlet form theory, stochastic analysis, heat kernels, stochastic processes in deterministic as well as random environments, and potential theory. He has published over 180 research papers and one monograph. He is a Fellow of the American Mathematical Society and a Fellow of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics. He has served in several editorial boards in mathematics. Currently, he is the Editor-in-Chief for Potential Analysis. He is a recipient of the Ito's Prize in 2019, together with Masatoshi Fukushima.

Masayoshi Takeda is a Professor of Mathematics at the Faculty of Engineering Science, Kansai University and also a Professor emeritus at Tohoku University, Japan. His main research interests include Dirichlet forms and Markov processes. He has published over 70 scientific papers in prestigious journals and books. He has served as the scientific editor for several mathematical journals. He was awarded the 2017 MSJ Analysis Prize (the Mathematical Society of Japan).

Toshihiro Uemura is a Professor of Mathematics at the Faculty of Engineering Science, Kansai University. His research interests include Dirichlet forms and Markov processes. He has published more than 30 papers in international, peer-reviewed journals. He is a member of MSJ and IMS.
