The REXX (Restructured Extended Executor) programming language is used across many operating system platforms. This handbook provides a practical overview of the object-oriented REXX programming language, Object REXX. It explains the differences between this new version and traditional REXX. It includes extensive programming examples for such important topics as GUI development, authoring tools, debugging, graphics and the OS/2 System Object Model (SOM) and Workplace Shell. TOM ENDER is a consultant specializing in OS/2 and LAN server systems design. He has conducted end-user training sessions on OS/2 for major corporations, and is a leading participant in IBM's OS/2 user groups. He contributed the REXX chapter to Dvorak's Guide to OS/2 2.1, and is a contributing editor to Bits and PC's, the Madison, Wisconsin PC user group's newsletter.
