I would figure out all the rules for generating knock-knock jokes, and the computer would be able to generate new jokes by choosing a name-punchline pair from the list.#4 I gave an AI a set of existing knock-knock jokes and instructions that were essentially, Here are some jokes; try to make more of these. Then I left to get coffee. The AI got to work. It began by guessing a few letters of a few knock-knock jokes. It had learned some rules by the time I returned with my coffee.
