Engineering Statistics
Springer International Publishing (Verlag)
978-3-031-05009-1 (ISBN)
Created specifically forthe book are 16 interactive graphics (IGs) that can be used to replicate all numerical calculations appearing in the book and many of its figures, numerically evaluate all formulas appearing in tables, solve all exercises, and determine probabilities and critical values for commonly used probability distributions. After downloading a free program, the IGs are ready to use and are self-explanatory in the context of the material.
Edward B. Magrab is Emeritus Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maryland at College Park. He has extensive experience in analytical and experimental analysis of vibrations and acoustics, served as an engineering consultant to numerous companies, and authored and co-authored books on vibrations, environmental noise control, instrumentation, integrated product design, advanced engineering mathematics, MATLAB (R), and Mathematica (R). He is a Life Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
