Amit Kumar, Ph.D., is Forensic Scientist, Entrepreneur, Engineer, Bioinformatician, and IEEE Volunteer. In 2005, he founded the first private DNA testing company, BioAxis DNA Research Centre, in Hyderabad, India, with an American partner. He has vast experience of training 1000+ crime investigation officers and has helped process 750+ criminal and non-criminal cases by offering analytical services. He is Senior Member of the IEEE, has been Vice Chairman of the IEEE India Council and Chairman of IEEE Hyderabad Section. Amit was awarded IEEE MGA Achievement award and IEEE India council Outstanding volunteer award in 2020. He was visiting professor at SJB Research Foundation and Current chairman of IEEE Region 10 Section chapter committee. Gheorghita Ghinea is Professor in the Computer Science Department at Brunel University, UK. He received the B.Sc. and B.Sc. (Hons) degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics, in 1993 and 1994, respectively, and the M.Sc. degree in Computer Science, in 1996, from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa; he then received the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of Reading, UK, in 2000. His work focuses on building adaptable cross-layer end-to-end communication systems incorporating user perceptual requirements. His work has been funded by both national and international funding bodies—all of it being collaborative work with other teams and stakeholders he has been privileged to be involved with. He has been honored to supervise 24 Ph.D. students to completion and to have published over 300 high-quality research articles with them and other research collaborators. He is Member of the IEEE and the British Computer Society. Suresh Merugu received his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee. He has four years of research experience in the fields of advanced digital image processing, colorimetry, computer vision, sub-pixel classification, data mining techniques, and space sciences. He has been Associate Professor at CMR College of Engineering & Technology, Hyderabad, since 2007. Takako Hashimoto (Vice President of the Chiba University of Commerce, CUC) graduated from Ochanomizu University, received a Ph.D. in computer science from the Graduate School of Systems and Information Engineering of University of Tsukuba in 2005, and worked for 24 years at the software R&D center of Ricoh Co. Ltd., Japan. With the company, she spearheaded the development of many software products as Technical Leader and acquired an enormous project management experience including international collaborative research handling. From April 2009, she joined as Associate Professor of CUC and became Professor of CUC. In 2015, she was Visiting Researcher at the University of California, Los Angeles. In 2016, she was Director of Institute of EconomicResearch and Vice President of CUC in 2018. Her research interests are data mining research and social media analysis, especially topic extraction from millions of tweets related to disasters such as the East Japan Great Earthquake and conducting global research on SDGs for achieving a 100% renewable energy environment as well.
