Lars Bo Vanting (Basel, Switzerland) has been working since 1989 with development and implementation of standard systems based on relational databases and 4th generation development tools (Informix 4GL, Oracle Forms/Developer, and Oracle Designer) on UNIX and Windows platforms. Today his main focus areas are database design, installation/configuration, networking, administration, tuning and server-side PL/SQL programming, on UNIX and NT systems. He also has gained much experience with the Oracle Enterprise Manager (EM) product as a tool for database monitoring and administration. Presently he works for IconMedialab Switzerland where he is CTO.
