About the Author Heather Williamson is both the manager and owner/partner of Cat's Back Consulting in the Wallowa Valley of Oregon. She specializes in technical writing and training for all levels of computer users on topics including the Internet, fax technology, data communications, operating systems, and office applications. Heather has worked on Unix and Linux boxes for eight years, taking a hiatus now and then when work required Windows or Macintosh systems. She is the author of the HTML Master Reference and has worked on a variety of other titles by IDG Books Worldwide and QUE. In her free time, between writing and raising her family, Heather raises American quarter horses, barrel races in local rodeo circuits (when writing allows), spoils her cocker spaniel and ancient yellow Lab, and gets shot while robbing a bank each Saturday during the summer in a Wild West reenactment.
