The Solaris 8 System Administrator two-part exam is progressive in nature - a test candidate must successfully pass Part I before proceeding to Part II. This guide will serve as both a study tool for the exam and on the job reference. It covers the administration of both the Inteland Sparc versions of Solaris, building on the reader's experience with Intel hardware, while at the same time introducing the major features of the Sun product line. The CD contains the full text of the entire book and an electronic test component that simulates the exam experience with hundreds of realistic questions.
