David Kim (DK), BSEE, CCNA, CISSP, CSCIstarted his IT career designing and installing Ethernet local area networks in the late 1980s using Novell Netware OS. The rapid evolution of structured wiring, 10BaseT, and higher-speed networks occurred during the 1990s into the early 2000s. This led DK to become a Cisco Systems Certified Instructor from 1993 to 2000. DK was instrumental in designing and configuring large-scale BGP backbone networks and enterprise IP layer 3 networks utilizing OSPF v2/v3 as the interior routing protocol. DK is currently a Principal Consultant for GRC As a Service, LLC, and provides network design, network security, network security assessments, and network layer penetration testing services. In addition, DK provides virtual Chief Information Security Officer (vCISO) services for various organizations and is a lead GRC Principal Consultant for GRCaaS. Michael G. Solomon, Ph.D., CISSP, PMP, CISM, PenTen+ is an author, educator, and consultant focusing on privacy, security, blockchain, and identity management. As an IT professional and consultant since 1987, Dr. Solomon has led project teams for many Fortune 500 companies and has authored and contributed to more than 25 books and numerous training courses. Dr. Solomon is a Professor of Cyber Security and Global Business with Blockchain Technology at the University of the Cumberlands, and holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Informatics from Emory University.
