Sumit Ghosh is associate chair for research and graduate programs in the Computer Science and Engineering Department at Arizona State University. Dr. Ghosh's research interests include areas such as: fundamental yet practical problems from the disciplines of asynchronous distributed algorithms; stability of complex asynchronous algorithms; networking; impact of topology on network performance; network security; modeling security attacks in ATM networks; deep-space networking; modeling and distributed simulation of complex systems; distributed resources allocations; and intelligent transportation. Tony S. Lee is a member of the technical staff at Vitria Technology. Dr. Lee developed the software program ATMsim: A Distributed ATM Network Simulator. His research interests include distributed resources allocation in networking, distributed algorithms and simulation, ATM networks, and quality of distributed decision-making systems.
