John has 13 years of experience in the IT industry and is responsible for Windows 2000 readiness at FrontWay Indianapolis. Glen Bergen has an extensive background in technical and IT skills, database design, and network infrastructure design. His experience includes knowledge in UNIX, Novell, and Microsoft operating systems, and he has authored several books on Windows 2000. His Microsoft certifications include MSCE + Internet, MCDBA, and MCT. For the past four years, he has been employed as a Technical Instructor for PBSC Computer Training. Glen enjoys spending time walking the trails around Edmonton, Alberta, with his wife, Jen. Damir Bersinic, an MCT, MCSE+Internet, MCDBA, and Oracle Certified DBA and Trainer, has over 17 years of industry experience working with SQL Server, Oracle, Microsoft Windows NT and BackOffice, and other advanced products. He has provided consulting and training on Active Directory and migrating to Windows 2000 to a number of companies. He is President and Founder of Bradley Systems Incorporated, a Microsoft Certified Solution Provider focusing on database, Internet, and system integration consulting and training. His extensive work with Windows NT and BackOffice has allowed him to provide high-level consulting and assistance to clients all over the world. Dave Bixler is the Technical Services Manager for a Fortune 500 systems integrator. He has been working in the computer industry since the mid-1980s, working on anything from paper tape readers to Windows 2000 servers. Dave has also worked on a number of New Riders books as an author, technical editor, or book reviewer. Dave's industry certifications include Microsoft's MCP and MCSE, as well as Novell's MCNE, and a number of others. When he's not taking tests, he is with his very patient wife, Sarah, and their boys, Marty and Nick. Michael D. Gambill is an MCSE+I, MCT, and MCNE and works as a Senior Systems Consultant and Trainer at a Microsoft Solution Provider Partner/Certified Technical Education Center. His areas of expertise include Microsoft Exchange, Windows 2000, and Windows NT. He has over ten years of experience in the industry. He lives in Cincinnati, Ohio, with his wife, Dawn, and their three children, Zachary, Brandon, and Paige. Doug Harrison is an MCSE, MCDBA, and MCNE. Doug has been working with Windows 2000 since Beta 2, and he currently works as the technical education manager at PBSC Computer Training in Toronto, Canada. Doug has been teaching Novell and Microsoft certified training for the past four years. Prior to his career in the training world, he worked as a network administrator and software developer for a consulting engineering firm. Doug currently lives in Toronto with his wife, Tracey, and their daughter, Mikayla. Dale Holmes holds MCSE, CNE, CCNA, and UNIX/C certification. He is a partner and senior technical consultant for AllNet, LLC, in Baltimore. He is an author of many certification titles, he designs and implements large-scale deployments of Microsoft and Cisco products on a daily basis, and he performs onsite technical training for IT professionals. Bill Matsoukas is President of Speed Productions, Inc., a consulting and technical service firm that specializes in the design and implementation of Microsoft networks. He holds MCSE and CNE certification. Bill has been an IT professional for the past 18 years. He lives in Colorado with his wife, Teri, and his son, Bryan. When not making the world a better place for computers, Bill restores old Mustangs and coaches Peewee hockey. Rob Scrimger is a trainer and consultant who lives and works in Canada. He started with computers in 1979 and, through a lot of luck and on the job training, has managed to do everything but design the boards (he is taking an electronics course though). When he's not working on computers, Rob enjoys good food and good friends, preferably on a boat. Currently Rob is certified in every product in the MCSE stream, holding every Microsoft certification except the MCSD that he plans to add by the time this book goes to press. He is also A+ and Network+ certified. Mark Verhagen is a Senior Systems Consultant, actively employed by Compugen Systems Limited in Compugen Technical Services (CTS). For the past four years Mark has designed, planned, implemented, and supported Microsoft Server solutions for the Corporate, Government, and Educational Sectors on small to large scale projects. Keeping one step ahead, Mark has completed all of the Microsoft provided Windows 2000 accelerated training, participated in Windows 2000 Beta testing, and was planning and implementing Windows 2000 for early adopters before its release. Mark is an experienced MCSE, Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA), and Internet Security Specialist (ISS), and also a Technical Forum Host on the leading Virtual Community for IT Professionals, BRAINBUZZ.COM. When he's not going 100mph, Mark makes the most of time at home in Sherwood Park, Alberta, with his wife and two children.
