Andy Field is a Reader in Psychology at The University of Sussex. He adores cats, listens to and plays loud music and enjoys teaching statistics. His ability to make statistics accessible and fun has been recognised with teaching awards from the University of Sussex (2001) and the British Psychological Society (2006). Greg Francis is a Professor of Psychological Sciences at Purdue University. He received his Ph.D. in Cognitive and Neural Systems from Boston University. He teaches undergraduate statistics for psychology students as well as selected other courses. His research focuses on mathematical models of visual perception. In 2003 Greg was awarded the teaching award for the psych department. He is the first author on Cog Lab (a saleable software product that is used in Cognition and research methods courses) which is now in version 2.0- 4th edition. CogLab consists of approximately 50 labs and is used in courses nationwide and internationally. It sells approximately 20,000+ copies each year. Greg has also published CogLab on a CD, CogLab Reading and Social Psychology Labs.
