Manjit Singh Sidhu is currently the head of the graphics and multimedia department, College of Computer Science and IT, University Tenaga Nasional (Malaysia). He received his BSc (Hons) degree in computer science from the University of Wolverhampton (UK, 1997), Masters in Information Technology from University Putra Malaysia (2000) and PhD in multimedia from the University of Malaya (2008). His background covers a wide range of computer science and educational experiences, initially teaching undergraduates and supervising postgraduates both master�s degree and PhD students in the graphics and multimedia department. He has written and published several conference proceedings, journals, and book chapters both locally and internationally. He has also won a number of research, development and invention awards both locally and internationally. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Computer and Communications Society, Malaysian National Computer Confederation (MNCC), and Malaysian Scientific Association (MSA). His research focuses on patterns of interactions in multimedia and virtual reality applications, visualization, and computer animations.
