Murder in Mesopotamia was written by Agatha Christie in 1934 while accompanying her archaeologist husband on one of his expeditions to Iraq. It was the first Hercule Poirot book set in the Middle East, and the first to be faithfully adapted into an atmospheric comic strip by the young French artist, ChandrFamed for her crime masterpieces, Agatha Christie’s books have become the best-selling in the world, appealing to readers young and old for their ingenious plots and immediately recognizable characters.
