Start of a New Era.

This book is not for the light-hearted.

Just because we can do it, does not mean we should do it.

The California sun was high in the sky. The air was hot and the smell of the Pacific Ocean was overwhelming. A lone young gentleman walked the dock of the rich yacht club. He looked at the private boats, sail boats, and yachts, then he looked down off the dock into the clear ocean water. He looked around at the dock numbers and saw a large truck being loaded with metallic plastic rectangle boxes. The crew were taking extra care with the coffin shaped boxes. The guard waved at the young man, then wiped sweat from his forehead. “Can I help you?” “Hello, Sir. What are those coffin-like things?” “Science equipment.” “Well, I have a job interview here. I posted my physicals to the company.” The guard smiled and looked at the list. “Let me check. It will be a hot one today. In the hundreds. Oh, you are going to see my boss. What is your name?” “Sir, my name is Todd Miller. I am here trying out for the job to help the scientist.” The guard walked to the podium. “Yes, your name is here. You are the last one on the list. The other guys did not show. Better for you. I will open the gate. Go to the last mega yacht. I will call ahead. Be careful of the workers. They are moving fragile scientific equipment.” Todd walked to the gate and the guard packed his things.

He buzzed him in. “Todd good luck. They will take you. It’s your last interview.” “Thank you.” “Oh, everyone that came here today and it was their last interview, they got the job. You got this.” Todd walked down the dock to the last yacht. All the other yachts looked like small military ships. He saw the yacht and it was massive. He saw the work crew taking off from the yacht four metallic plastic shaped coffin boxes. He heard someone calling him. “Are you Todd?” He looked up from the dock. “Yes, Sir, I am.” The well-dressed man smiled. “Hi, Todd. Come upstairs to the back of the ship. I cannot wait to meet you.” Todd ran up the custom wooden stairs. He walked into a large richly decorated bar room, and walked up to the bar. The man in the suit stood behind the bar. “Hello, Sir.” The man smiled. “Hi, Todd. Want something to drink? It is hot here. I am happy you are dressed as we asked. Ready to travel? Want a beer?” Todd replied, “I do not drink.” The man looked him over. “Do you smoke or use drugs? Sleep around? How many partners? I ask because this ship will be going around, and we do not need a guy running around starting trouble.” “I do not smoke, drink, or use drugs, and I do not sleep around. My test shows that. I hate that stuff. I do not want to say it, but I have not been with anyone yet. I would like to get married someday. I like to be clean.”

The suit smiled. “Good, very good. We were watching you. If you did you would not be here. You’re a health nut. Not full of himself.” “Thank you, Sir. Love to exercise and eat right.” “So, Todd. New York, Florida, Texas, Idaho. Nice. You will meet the big boss. Here’s a bottle of water.” Todd snapped open the bottle of water and drank. “The boss handpicked you. He will be happy that you showed up. I hope the plane ride was to your liking. First class, and the hotel, did you call for any fun to your room? Like the ladies of the night? Like whores?” Todd shook his head. “I do not do that.” The man watched Todd finish drinking the water. “He wanted you. The six did not show and three were lies. He wants you. Oh, the cameras on the dock are on loop. No one knows you are here.” Todd looked at him strangely. “What type of interview is this?” Then he heard a woman scream and someone collapsed. Todd jumped away from the bar, but his legs were jelly. He collapsed to the ground as the guard walked in. One of the workers ran in. The guard looked at him. “I am the boss. I will kill you all myself. Close the doors. You idiots! Get me the medical staff.” The Suit walked around the bar. “We had to kill the three liars. Boss, we took them out to sea and through the bodies overboard.” “Good.” The worker ran out and closed the doors. Todd tried to get up but felt weaker. He looked at the bottle and saw a mark on the side of it.

The suit looked down at him. “Yes, Todd, we drugged you. You told your mom and dad you were here. Sorry, you are not here. You should have looked at the numbers better and the cameras are on a loop. No one will find you. The hotel has no one staying there by your name and there is no hotel by that name. The plane ticket has been changed to another state. By the way, you are the experiment.” Todd’s head hit the floor and he was too weak to raise his head. He watched them put a metallic plastic coffin next to him and opened it. The medical team was plugging him up to fluid bags and a machine. They got him ready for something. The Boss walked out talking to his worker. They put him in the coffin. The suit leaned over and said, “They want you alive Todd and the others. Oh, you are the experiment. They will test you. Load him up and ship him out. The next three are on the way here and keep the doors closed. We do not want anyone hearing what we are doing.” They put a breathing mask on him, and he watched them close the coffin. Todd’s eye lids got heavy and before he knew it, he fell asleep. The boss looked at the suit. “We only got one male. He will have to do. The Nine other are a waste. Men, handle him with special care. We have no time to look for more men. We are already overdue.” “Lucky guy.” “No, I would not want to be him.”

Lab in Nebraska

A young lady danced in the lab as the other ladies laughed.

Sharon: “Mila, I am so happy you and Doctor Zoyo are working with me in bioengineering and biotechnology.”

Mila: “Sharon, I am happy to work with you. We have to get these containers locked.”

Zoyo: “It was a lot of fun. We have to get ready for tomorrow’s flight.”

Mila closed a container: “Will all those drugs work?”

Sharon leaned back in a chair: “Yes, hundred percent. I worked on them over ten years.”

Zoyo closed a container: “Do not forget the loved ones.”

Sharon: “My two angels. I have to leave them behind. I will be back. We will go to the island lab and do our jobs, then I will go home to them. Mila, how many do you have?”

Mila: “I have no one. Look at me. I’m a small round person.”

Zoyo looked Mila up and down: “What is wrong with your beautiful body. You are a lady a beautiful lady. I will find you a good Russian man to chase you around. He will marry you and give you babies. I do know this guy. You met him and he likes you. When we are done here. You’ll see! You are very cute. If I was a man, I would marry you. I would want your round, cute lady body all over my body, Mila.”

Mila smiled and looked at Zoyo: “Thank you. Sharon, all those drugs. When they get put together and put it in a person what happens?”

Sharon: “The human will die or mutate. Hundred percent the human will die. I do not know what will happen if the person lives. I know the super soldier is designed to mutate the human body. That is abuse. That is against human rights laws. We did not make drugs for that. The drugs are for farm animals and plants. The super soldier will have animals in it.”

Zoyo walked over to the windows and looked out: “The truck is here for the containers for the lab. Let’s go and have fun. No drinking after that for forty-eight hours. Let’s have fun.”

Office building.

The uncomfortable heat and humidity in the office space made it unbearable for everyone in the office. The small fans did not work but push the heat around. The window in the building made things worse because they did not open. A well dressed man took off his suit jacket and looked at the lady walking into his office. The man sat down and said. “Sorry, I had you, twenty ladies waiting in the Arizona heat. Ladies, here is ice cold water bottles. I had these twenty metallic plastic coffin boxes here with the scientific equipment. Drink up ladies. All of you are scientists?”

New York

A lady walked into her boss’s office. A well dress man wiped the sweat from his brow with his handkerchief.

Boss: “Heidi, did I say your name right? I am sorry the A/C is not working in this summer heat. It is very hot in here. I bought you that ice cold bottled water. Are the ladies drinking there water outside?”

Heidi: “Yes, they are.”

Boss: “Oh, that metallic plastic box back there in the other storage office has the computer stuff in it. Drink up. I know it is hot. The A/C will be fixed.” The man smiled as Heidi drank from the water bottle that was marked.

Pacific Ocean

A large helicopter flew out of South America over the Pacific Ocean. It flew south over the islands. Sharon looked down at the huge private island.

Pilot: “Ma’am, your friends are on the island. You wanted to know. The island is over ten miles long and it is seven miles wide at its widest point. It was a Russian space rocket test site and a super cargo ship building site. This island was a lab and for storage. It is experimental farming now. They sold it after the cold war. No one has used it for some...
