Anja Stoeckigt is a self-taught illustrator with a love for everyday beautiful things. Through her company Paper-tales, and based from her studio in Cape Town, she creates cards, prints and other fun paper goods. She’s also illustrated a bunch of children’s books, including The Boy and the Tree (authored by Marleen Lammers), The Amazing Adventure series, and the award-winning How Many Ways Can You Say Hello?, and How Many Ways Can You Say Goodbye? (all published by Penguin Random House SA). Anja loves to take long walks on the beach, draw upside-down birds with top hats and eat Nutella right out of the jar.
