The poet had been waking to fine experiences of his conscious being, whereby the transition area, between the subconscious and the conscious levels, opened up a garden of earthly and spiritual delights, as a designed stage upon a stage by one of his favourite Muses, he calls his 'A-Muse'. So, waking in love seemed to fit the description. Into this garden, he'd commute daily and would meet and communicate with artists of fame and also with talented contemporaries, while his Muses danced in a traditional sensual roundabout in and out of his room, high above the rooftops of Vienna,

Born in Eastern Austria, close to the Hungarian border, he witnessed the horrors of a nation's suppression, erupting in the Hungarian Revolution of 1956. He finished his education in art and architecture in Vienna, married, and sailed for the Cape of Good Hope, an adventure that followed his childhood dreams. He had drawn African animals for his art classes, but the time had come to see them in their natural habitat. Meeting a varied facet of people and cultures, working as a draughtsman in an engineering office, as an architect for a cultural centre, and as a coordinator of craftsmen and professionals, he made good use of his language skills traveling throughout Southern Africa. During a trip to Lesotho, a native artist showed him rock paintings with their stark palimpsest outlines and with typified movements of animals and humans. It made a lasting impression on him and influenced his artistic work. His vast collection of drawings and slides had been lost during a change of domiciles, but further studies of the art of the San people reawakened his dormant artistic longing for expression of his art, filling sketchbooks with drawings and notepads with poetry and prose. While revisiting the capitals of Europe, he sensed the bond of art being borderless and free, reaching out across continents into the world. During a visit to Greece, he was accepted into a circle of artists and poets, who encouraged him to continue his art and a friend introduced him to the works of famous Greek poets. In South Africa, he joined the writing and poetry workshops of Writers Write. It was to open the floodgates of his creativity. He decided to travel through Greece and visit its sites of antiquity, read up on Classical mythology, and enjoy translations of Greek poetry and prose. He settled 2013/14 in Klosterneuburg-Weidling. Poet Nikolaus Lenau is buried here. Franz Kafka has visited here. Their writings will always be an inspiration.

Note: In the case of ZJG: Being a poet, catapulted into existence by a Muse, so, despite the ridicule of ignorant people.

Every time a Twin Flame thinks strongly of his mate, or Muse, friend or love interest, she’ll feel a stir and will respond. This was the case with Ira, today, as so often, this morning on the 24.05.2023 (9) at 6:00 am as his phone beeped: “Excuse me to wake you.” There was a pause as he stirred.

“Not at all,” he replied and wanted to tell her about dreaming of her, but she seemed to be worried about her hubby’s state. “He’s still asleep,” he said.

“Sorry, but I’m worried about him, as he had laboured badly to swallow his medication. And when he does that, a drop or so will get into his lungs.”

“I see,” he said and felt as if she had touched him though. He swallowed hard and wished to excuse himself, sensing that she had sensed his own stirred state. With the vibes of worrying about her spouse, she stirred his skin, placed him on an incendiary mission, and fired him up like a rocket, a warming up at first and then some easy conversation. “I’m coming to see him,” she said, “not that I might be of more help, but I could be of assistance to put things into motion, if he gets worse.”

“Yes of course,” Z replied.

“I’m looking forward of coming to see you, we may go together and do things.”

“Yes,” he said, “and I’m looking forward to it too. We’ll need some accessories to water the garden.”

“Oh, we’ll do that.” She said, ending the conversation with a thank you. “Please could you see how he is?”

“Yes.”

“I’ll wait.” Z opened the door of his room, stepped into the passage and opened the door to Mr T’s room. “He is lying supine and his breathing seemed to be normal,” he said to Mrs Ira.

“Oh thank you,” she replied, “I’m feeling relaxed now.”

“I’m glad,” Z said.

“Good bye, see you soon,” she replied with a low tone of voice, and he bade her good bye and wished her good luck for her imminent trip. Every time Ira phoned Z, it felt to him as if she would be physically close, something he had with Ana, just like it. Amazing, is this his new love interest, a projected Ana in the body of Ira? Maybe. It’s more that he had fallen in love with her and now he’ll go through the stages of a love that’ll be different to Ana’s, but perhaps not less intense in feelings; yet a bit more laid back, as the married situation of their respective spouses was different: Mrs Ira’s, a concerned one about her husband’s health and her duty to afford him the best care she possibly could afford. Here, love is purely compassionate, just like in Z’s situation: His spouse is the one, who fights the condition of her ‘Hammertoes’, which made her fall onto an unlined piece of a pavement, as she stepped down from a train at Franz-Josef’s Bahnhof. A small, but sudden descent on the pavement let her step tumble and she fell down. Nothing, but a few bruises, due to her light weight. Fortunately. B is tolerant to Z’s infidelities. Their love is based, just as Ira’s love, on a long togetherness in married life. Z won’t divorce his spouse and neither will Ira. Z’s divorce would be easy, as he’s part of a low pension plan from the state and he has no assets. Ira’s is different. She said once: “It’s not an easy thing to get divorced.” Obviously she had enquired about it, just like Z had. Well, then Z has not many options to love Ira, other than oral lovemaking that wouldn’t be dealt with as grounds for a divorce, if caught. Z thought about Clinton and Lewinsky. The question would be: Does Ira enjoy oral sex with men? Did she once, or was it perhaps with a girlfriend? Well, once married that would be the only option of loving another person. Interesting, Z thought.

When Z saw Mrs Ira again on Wednesday afternoon, she was surprised seeing him, or so she said, obviously with an intention not to needle her hubby in front of him. However, Z looked at her and he knew immediately that he had an unseen connection to his Muse, his friend, his Twin Flame, he felt immediately drawn to. He joked with Shan, the man who drove Mrs Ira to Vienna and relaxed through joking and telling stories about his past life with happy sketches, he laughed about heartily. It seemed all the tensions of a four hour drive had been laughed off and this kind of therapy relaxed him. Great. Mrs Ira had to dart in and out of the living area, where her hubby still remained resting in bed, requiring attention from V and her. He watched Mrs Ira and while he spoke to Shan, she positioned herself on the bed of Mr T and held his hand at times, while she took a part in the conversation with Shan and the poet. Mr T wished that Ira stayed with him tonight and Z offered to go home again, but Mrs Ira said she would sleep at her brother-in-law’s flat tonight and let Z go off tomorrow, when Mrs V came to attend to Mr T, who was lucky that he would find her as a nursemaid, who offered her help to him during the day. Z came for a night watch, from 17:30 onwards and he’d stay until 9:30 am the next day. This system of looking after Mr T worked quite well. Having some volunteers looking after an elderly person had been of a great help to Mrs Ira. During these occasions, Z formed a good partnership with Mrs Ira and he became fond of her witty and alert mind. Falling in love is always easy with a pretty woman, although Mrs Ira felt herself engaged at present in a fight of losing her youthful looks, though she still looked radiant, especially when she engaged in her swimming exercises. Z felt greatly attracted to her and wrote love poems for her. On and off, he felt he would approach her for a téte-à-téte, but she would hold back from any love affair that would put her on the spot. Z understood that quite well, from his former involvement with an ‘Affaire du Coeur’ that ended dramatically with the passing of his beloved. It’s serious to be involved with a woman who is married to a jealous husband. For Z it hadn’t been a problem, his spouse being liberal, but for Ira it would be a greater problem and she wouldn’t play her husband openly with Z, who had fallen in love with her, but behaved discreetly, just as Ira wanted it for the time being. It wasn’t solely for sexual want, but for good understanding, and for togetherness in spirit and soul. A bond of souls – Soulbonding – happened to be a great event indeed in this 21st century, in midst of a world in turmoil and a war at the borders of the European communities.

“I brought you a book,” Z said.

“Well, I’ll see you tomorrow.” She replied. “When are you leaving?” She added.

“Now, whenever you’ll pitch” he replied. Of course he’d wait for her and kiss her hand…of course he would…whenever she’d indicate to him her preparedness, her position to be ready in love, the moment when the magic of their love would start to bloom, just like her garden downtown across the Danube canal. What secrets were buried in the garden and what then in her heart?

Morning’s Z got up at :30 am, his standard waking time, if he would consequently go to bed by 11:00 pm, sleeping at least seven hours, his quota of feeling well rested the next day.

“Hello, good morning,” she answered as he called her back. “I see you are already active in the morning.”

“Indeed,” he answered, “I’m preparing breakfast.”

“Oh, I have nothing to eat here. I could offer you a white roll.”

“Thank you. Should I bring some bread?”

“Yes, that’s a good idea.” He replied, having checked the kitchen.

“Well, what will we do?” His mind was doing summersaults, of course he had a lot of games in mind they could engage in and explore happiness at the ripe age of 80 plus, like children, mature children... Indeed.

Mr T had switched on ‘Servus TV’ and listened to old-timers. In the morning these tunes of yesterday created for him a pleasant musical background to waking up, sipping coffee and check the rooftops of Vienna below a glow of a blue sky. The white gable walls reflected the spring’s sunshine. He ate his ‘White Gugelhupf’ from Konditorei Heiner, a first class bakery in the heart of Vienna, sipped his café...
