Piers Plowman has come to be recognised as one of the great literary works of art of the Middle Ages. The editions of the A, B and C texts, originally published by The Athlone Press between 1960 and 1997, under the general editorship of George Kane, are now available for the first time in a set along with the accompanying Concordance. This provides a complete Concordance to the A, B and C texts of Piers Plowman in the Athlone Press editions. Each word in the vocabulary of the three versions (approximately 5,400) is listed alphabetically in its order of occurrence within the particular version, in the succession A, B, C.
