The story shows the reader what it truly means to love someone: committing everything a person has to the wellbeing of another. The story does not discriminate between heterosexual and homosexual relationships and shows that love is not about gender and lust, but about two souls who are made to journey through life together. The novel would have a strong appeal to young adults from both LGBT and straight communities.
