That's because, even though this unique and imaginative tale takes place in the historic Borough of Emmaus, Pennsylvania, the actual story is told from the other Burrow of E.M.Maus, an underground colony inhabited by very intelligent mice.

THE PATH TO GRAVE DANGER is the first book in a proposed series of children's books called, E.M.MAUS BURROW MYSTERIES, written about a real town, but with a twist. Even though this unique and imaginative tale takes place in the historic Borough of Emmaus, Pennsylvania, the actual story is told from the other Burrow of E.M.Maus, an underground colony inhabited by very intelligent mice. In the Burrow of E.M.Maus the story is told through Emoji Modern Maus, the colonies' current protector, and modern day E.M.Maus. But just as important to the story are the other two main characters, Emoji's niece and nephew, Pitter, and Patter, who learn long lost secrets about their town. As the two young curious mice attend school, play on the playground, romp in the forest, and sneak through a graveyard, they more often than not get into mischief as they uncover clues to their town's history.
