A novel full of suspense, deep emotions and twists and turns on every page. Not everything is as it seems until you delve deeper under the surface.
Have you ever had a gut feeling that you're too scared to follow? Doubts in your mind, blinding you from the potential truth? If so, this book will show you just how important it is to act on what you feel, even when there are risks and obstacles put in your way to stop you.

"Take me to the lake."

The favourite five-word ticket to freedom of 18-year-old Coral. Alcohol, drugs, and flunking sixth form are her coping mechanisms, as well as her on-earth miracle of a friend Iris, for grieving the loss of the ghosts that surround her. But when the already dark world around her becomes even

darker, thanks to a few lake parties, the pain of loved ones and the re-opening of old wounds, Coral has to act fast before she loses more than she already has. Will time be on her side, or will she end up losing it all, including herself?

Sophia Nicole was born in West Yorkshire, and has always had a passion for all things creative. Writing being her first and foremost preferred way to express herself, alongside making music, singing, drawing and painting. She has always loved reading a variation of books, but if there's suspense and a mystery to solve, that's where she's hooked from the get-go, and therefore this is her favourite genre to write about. Sophia has also always had a passion for teaching young children and has worked in the Early Years sector for over eight years. She takes great delight in teaching the children in her care through creative activities, making sure that their learning is always fun and full of development opportunities. From as long ago as she can remember, Sophia has always been an 'outdoors girl', finding great delight in getting lost in the woods, exploring a countryside trail, or making her way across a beach, collecting interesting shells and gazing off into the horizon. Sophia finds that being in these environments helps to clear her head and inspire her, especially where writing is involved. And come rain or shine, she will take off on an adventure with her camera, ready to capture all that nature has to offer.
