A biography of Sam Ermolenko
Sam Ermolenko has been at the forefront of speedway for the last two decades. He was world champion in 1993 and on the rostrum on three other occasions. He has won four world team gold medals with the USA side and has been Best Pairs champion and British League Riders champion. He raced for Poole, Wolverhampton (for ten years), Hull, Belle Vue and Sheffield. Sam enjoys a high media profile, being a presenter for Sky TV and Channel 4's speedway coverage. He is also currently enjoying a swansong season of racing at Wolverhampton.
