The History of Jamaica

First published in 1774, the classic 3-volume History of Jamaica is presented in a new edition with an introduction by Howard Johnson. The publication of Edward Long's History of Jamaica marked the first occasion on which an extended historical narrative was undertaken by an author with a prolonged association with the island.
