Antoine Renand has written and directed several short films which have won awards and been broadcast on television. He is the author of several feature film scripts in production. Empathy is his first novel. Frank Wynne is an award-winning literary translator.He has translated works by Michel Houellebecq and Frédéric Beigbeder, and his translation of Vernon Subutex by Virginie Despentes was shortlisted for the Man Booker International 2018.
