Having spent years looking after her siblings Erin Foley needs to re-evaluate her life and a secluded cabin near Virgin River is the perfect place for peace and quiet. However, the tranquillity is soon disturbed by a shaggy haired mountain man – he was certainly not part of her plan that included solitude and meditation.


In fact, beneath his faded fatigues and bushy beard, Aiden Riordan is a doctor, recharging for a summer after leaving the navy. He's intrigued by the pretty, slightly snooty, woman intent on keeping him at arm’s length, and would love to get closer.


Despite his scruffy exterior Erin finds herself drawn to Aiden. Could coming to Virgin River to escape mean both of these lost souls find the one thing missing in their lives, love?
