A brutal debut play exploring the toxicity of casual dating and the grey area between love and sex, consent and compliance, yes and no.
‘I don’t understand how we got here. How we got to the point of actual physical fucking violence’

It seemed so straightforward: her and him, sex, whenever they wanted.

But when the casual becomes routine and what was convenient turns all-consuming, she’s left trying to figure out, trying to remember when the ‘straightforward’ became so vicious.

Michelle Barnette’s brutal debut play explores the toxicity of casual dating and the grey area between love and sex, consent and compliance, yes and no.
