Performance poetry to music.
`To Madness We Worshipped' is Yashmak Webs first album. It's an ambivalent journey of either a story of love and addiction or addiction and love; either way, it is a journey into madness.

Track descriptions.
In `Sea', love is portrayed as a literal sacrificial offering.
`Dawn' and then `Withdrawal' are the confirmation of this, followed by the disturbing and bitter `Craved', the subject of which is equivocal; a person, a substance, a dream?
`Exile', the fifth and middle piece, is a tipping point; a journey into some internal place that is at once terrifying and magical.
`Walking' follows `Exile' and the untitled you/me is seemingly incarcerated in some form of dystopian institution. Or, is it entirely imagined, before entering `Cedarwood', the half-way house or hotel?

The imagery and the situation are never clear. The buccaneer swagger of `Cedarwood' is immediately counterpointed by `Steep', a combination of eastern mysticism and twenty-first-century thinking and possibly a clue as to what sort of experience the listener has been invited to. And why is this album paradoxical? Because the final `Sunrise' is both the end and the beginning. It may have indeed been a journey going nowhere, but as soon as it's over you immediately wish to relive it by listening to it again.
`To Madness We Worshipped' is a unique, narrated soundscape of the mind. Wear headphones!
'Each CD contains a twenty-page booklet containing the lyrics and images unique to the album.
