Arden Shakespeare CD-Rom

This CD-ROM brings together a vast body of reference material. To the core of the text of the second series of the "The Arden Skakespeare" is added a range of key sources and reference works, forming a textbase which should help the student to engage seriously with both texts and sources.

To add to the repute and scope of its Arden series, Routledge have designed a CD-ROM for higher level Shakespeare studies. This CD-ROM brings together a body of hitherto scattered reference material of primary importance: to the core of the complete text of the second editions of the Arden Shakespeare is added a range of key sources and reference works, forming a textbase which will help the student to engage seriously with both texts and sources. The CD-ROM consistd of the following elements: all volumes of the Arden Shakespeare 2nd edition, including: full texts of plays; introductions; variants; commentary notes; appendices; facsimile images of: First Folio text of the plays and appropriate early Quarto texts; bibliography - Bevington's "Shakespeare"; Bullough's "Narrative and Dramatic Sources of Shakespeare"; Abbott's "A Shakespearian Grammar"; Onions Eagleson's "A Shakespearean Glossary"; and Partridge's "Shakespeare's Bawdy".
