All we need to do is to understand the Human Soul in contrast to the ego, like the ancients did, and learn how to look inwardly. William Wordsworth once said, "Poetry is emotion recollected in tranquility." But these poems are different. They are tranquility recollected with emotion. They tear the veil of Life itself, and they discover the Heartland and The Idea Factory behind the facade of things.
