Irish Poetry

This study discusses a variety of Irish poets, from John Hewitt through Seamus Heaney to Paul Muldoon, all of whom have been inspired by the situation in Northern Ireland. Placing the poems in their historical context, the text also analyzes the influence of W.B. Yeats on these poets.
