From Steel City To Hollywood

Phil Avalon began his long and enviable career in entertainment by selling seats to his own puppet shows at age five. After a stint as one of Australia's most successful male models, Phil went on to a forge a successful career in writing and production, including producing Australia's first telemovie 'Double Dealer' and later the acclaimed 'Summer City', the platform for budding Australian actors Mel Gibson, Steve Bisley and John Jarratt. Since that time Phil has produced over a dozen films and won the World Masters Surf Champion title.
