You may not be surprised to learn, given this book's subject, that Alexander Valley is not the author's real name. He is in fact the renowned author of several other highly acclaimed books, though under another pen name and therefore unmentionable. Dr. Valley's avante garde style is so refreshing that he has made being non-PC an actual art form.
