AI's ability to rapidly produce vast amounts of highly engaging and personalized content could supercharge the addictive "dopamine hits" that fuel compulsive behaviors and technology addictions. I coined the term "semiotic deluge" to describe how the AI-generated maelstrom of output might drown out 5,000 years of recorded history.
