Uriel Pascucci is an Argentinian concert pianist, composer, music producer and pedagogue. He is laureate of international piano competitions. Among his recordings he has released a CD Album with piano works by Beethoven, Mussorgsky and one of his own compositions through iMD-classics label. In addition, he has recorded a transcription for solo piano of a tango by Astor Piazzolla to tribute the centenary of this great Argentinian composer. He frequently releases recordings of his own compositions. Uriel Pascucci's recordings are available to listen on the main digital platforms. Besides, he has performed several concerts and tours in Argentina, United States, France, Spain, Italy, England, Austria, Switzerland and Germany. In 2008 Uriel Pascucci unanimously won the First Prize in the Competition of Annual Selection of the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo´s Orchestra in Mendoza. In 2010 he unanimously won the First Prize during the XVIII Piano Competition “City of Necochea” – Bicentennial Edition in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was later honored with the Prize Outstanding Young People from Mendoza 2010 (“Premio Jóvenes Mendocinos Destacados 2010”), in the category of “leadership, commitment and cultural achievements,” given by Mendoza´s Business Council. In 2014 he participated in the legendary “International Piano Academy Freiburg” in Germany, where at the final concert he was awarded the Second Prize in the Audience Competition. He has been awarded the Second Prize, on the Piano Soloist Senior Category, at the International Music Competition “London” Grand Prize Virtuoso 2017, in England. Uriel Pascucci studied piano under the guidance of the Russian pianist Jura Margulis, as part of the J. William Fulbright College of Arts & Sciences, at the University of Arkansas, in the United States. Besides, he studied in Switzerland at the Basel Music Academy (Musik-Akademie der Stadt Basel) and also graduated with an Honors Diploma from the Music School which belongs to the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo (UNCuyo) in Mendoza, Argentina. Additionally, Uriel Pascucci has enriched his musical education in various ways. He has actively participated in the Masterclasses of renowned pianists and has studied composition with the Argentinian composer Dante G. Grela as well as with Aydin Esen. Uriel Pascucci has performed as a soloist, with orchestra, in chamber music formations and with classical singers. As a passionate musician, his piano repertoire includes the works of a wide variety of composers ranging from Baroque to Contemporary music.
