He is the author or editor of more than 40 books. Adrianne Cheek Miles (1971-2024; PhD, University of Texas at Austin) was associate professor of English and linguistics at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, where she taught courses in writing, literature, communication, and linguistics.
