If there's one thing that Joanne McNally knows it's that we may have smart phones, Prozac and Prosecco, but we're still just animals trying to survive. And in Femme Feral, she explores the chaos and exhilaration that results from following our basic instincts. Blending stories from her life with wider observations about what it means to be a 'single, unfertilised female in her 30s'.
Femme Feral is both hilarious and reassuring, boldly revealing that Joanne knows exactly the BS that most of us grow up with and can never quite escape. Whether it's body image, booze, fashion, dodgy boyfriends, withholding therapists, weak pelvic floors or figuring out how to be enough - this book shows that no woman is out there on her own.
Raucously funny and infinitely insightful, Femme Feral is Joanne McNally's dazzling survival manifesto.
