He began traveling to different cities to find his favorite punk bands.#4 The Bad Brains, a DC band, were one of the most influential bands in the early hardcore scene. They were known for their political fury and heavy rock songs, laced with a strong reggae vibe. They moved to New York, and their impact on bands such as the Beastie Boys and the nascent Big Apple hardcore scene was tremendous.
