Entre 2008 et 2013, l'auteur sillonne l'Europe de l'Ouest du nord au sud. Au sein d'un paysage urbain ambivalent, qui appelle à la fuite ou au repli sur soi, il livre une poésie de l'intime en noir et blanc, qui renvoie l'être humain à ses fondements, et la société à ses contradictions.

Poésie de l'intime, la photographie que produit William Guidarini s'attache à l'homme dans la réalité de son quotidien. La quête de soi, dans la solitude, la mémoire et la beauté au sein d'une civilisation de l'éphémère est au coeur de sa démarche d'auteur. Il vit et travaille à Marseille (France), en tant que formateur en photographie.

Between 2008 and 2013, the author scoured Western Europe from North to South. Set in an ambivalent cityscape that calls for flight or withdrawal, the resulting photographs evince a poetry of intimacy in black-and-white that sends human beings back to their foundations and society to its contradictions. William Guidarini's photography focuses on human beings in the reality of their daily lives. The quest for self-knowledge, in solitude, memory, and beauty, within a civilization of the ephemeral, is at the heart of his poetics of intimacy. Guidarini lives and works in Marseille, where he teaches photography.
